By NYU I saw a jack russel terrier with a bandana on its neck, and asked the owner if I can take a picture of it. It was running around too much for me to get a shot, so the guy... threw the dog on top of his SUV! It kept looking down at the sidewalk, but backing away. Check it out!

During the course of excavation for the redesign of Washington Square Park, the city’s Parks Department has uncovered human bones – at least four intact burials, and seven complete skeletons. The park was used as a burial ground for the poor in the early 1800s. The Parks Department has said that the plans for the redesign have been revised in order to leave the bones in place. it sneaks past you. I've found it disturbing that now, when I recall stuff that happened 10 years ago, it no longer happened in my childhood or even teen years.
